Trick to Bypass Complete Survey to Unlock Page

Annoying. Frustrating even. But worry no more. There is a way to get through the ‘Complete Survey to Unlock Page’. I realized that a lot of websites and blogs are using this annoying feature to earn money. They might enjoy the flow of cash into their pockets but do they realized the readers hate it just as much?

It might look harmless but advertisements like these could cause a virus attack, countless spams on your inbox, stealing of data and private information, etc.

All you have to do is go to your browser’s Firefox>Preferences window(I am using Mozilla Firefox. Try finding the Tools, Options, etc.  if you are using a different browser) on Mac or Tools>Options on Window’s.

Then, click on the Contents tab. Untick the Enable Javascript field. Save your changes(for Windows) or close it(for Mac).

Now that your Javascript has been disabled temporarily, refresh the page and yes…the surveys no longer pop out.

One reminder though, remember to re-enable your Javascript or you will have trouble navigating through some other websites.

Note: This trick might not work on all types of pop-up surveys.

When the website is fully appeared Press ESC button or click on the stop button from your browser toolbar. Something look like this. 

This will stop processiong the data and it will stop redirecting to a survey page.
